This tri-fold brochure was created in the fall of 2009 for artist Gila Uziel to promote her art classes for children. I interviewed Uziel and condensed her artist's philosophy into a succinct paragraph for the back of the brochure, which the graphic designer, Courtney Lawver from Pop X Graphics, enhanced by pulling out some essential words to emphasize the key concepts. We continued the same idea for the inside of the brochure, where I created a short bio and class descriptions from the information that came out in my discussions with her.
The challenge for this brochure was to condense a lot of specific concepts that the artist wanted to convey into a very small space that is still visually appealing with a good amount of white space. See the full brochure in my portfolio.
