I had a lot of fun researching this article about all the different places in San Diego County you can find publicly accessible Niki de Saint Phalle sculptures. The renowned artist made San Diego her home for the latter portion of her life and we are fortunate to have so many of her works here, including Queen Califia's Magical Circle, the only American sculpture garden she created. Some of the works have moved since this article was published in September 2005 in San Diego Family Magazine, but many of them are in the same locations.
